Adelphia Ellen (Nelson) Tullar, 85, of Ocean Springs and formerly of Pascagoula passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018. She was born June 27, 1932 in Los Angles, CA. Adele was raised in the Burbank area and graduated from John Burroughs High School.

Adele’s favorite song was “In the Garden”. It is safe to say that even today she is walking “In the Garden” with her late husband who was called to Heaven in September 2017. She was a ray of sunshine to everyone she met and will be deeply missed by family and friends. This said, she is where she wants to be, next to Ernie, likely sipping on some of her favorite hot tea!

Adele was a devoted wife and mother throughout her life, which including living in four counties and several states while raising her children.

She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Mary Nelson, and brother, Bill Berke. Adele leaves behind two daughters and one son, Carol (John) Smith, Karen (Ed) Gregory and Robert (Sheila) Tullar; 10 Grandchildren; Edward (Mary) Gregory, Matt Gregory, Brian Hook, Christina (John) Donaldson, Debbie (Kevin) Everett, Jackie Shultz, Michelle Harold, Valerie Tullar, Natalie (Fidel) Lucero, and Ryan Tullar; 17 Great Grandchildren, and 7 Great-Great Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, if desired, please donate to a charity, cause, or church of your choice. We thank you all for the outpouring of love we have felt during this time of remembrance while mourning our mom.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 6:00-8:00pm at O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 3290 Ladnier Road, Gautier, MS. Committal Service will be held on January 16, 2018, 10:00AM at Biloxi National Cemetery. You may send condolences to the family at
