OBITUARIES

Alyssa Michelle Phillips
April 10, 1987 - November 8, 2017

Yesterday we lost a treasured member of our family. Alyssa was a wonderful daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, aunt, mother, step-mother, wife, and friend. She was loyal and fierce and feisty and kind. She brought so much love and smiles and laughter into so many people's lives. She was always a protecting big sister that gave sweet cuddles when newborn nieces and nephews arrived. And, OH the joy when her son, Maximus Unum, entered the world could not be denied as it beamed from her beautiful cheeks. To know her is to love her. Alyssa "Lyss" Stork Phillips, 30, joined her mother in Heaven on November 8. She was born on April 10, 1987 in Honolulu, HI to Billy and Connie Stork.

She is preceded in death by her mother Connie Stork Bowman. She is survived by her husband, Carl Phillips; sons Corbin and Maximus Phillips; Father Billy (Venus) Stork; sisters, Tracie (Paul) Clevenger; Ciera (Chris) Parsons; Dixie Culpepper, Paris Stork, Cheyenne Stork and Dara DeLoach.

She is also survived by her grandparents Kay (Richard) McVeay Wheat, Ocean Springs, Billy (Jeannie) Stork, Gautier, Debra Ladner, D’Iberville, and Sue Simonis, Sweet Home, OR, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Pall bearers will be Jacob Stork, Brandon Stork, Joshua Stork, Dale McVeay, Jose Orellana and Carlos Camacho. She is and will forever be her daddy's Pooh bear.
