Ernest Frank Tullar  I am a Veteran.
August 18, 1932 - September 19, 2017

Ernest Frank Tullar, age 85, of Ocean Springs and formerly of Pascagoula passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017. He was born August 18, 1932 in Fillmore, NY. Ernie was raised as a child in the Rochester, NY Area.

Philippians 1:21 "For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain" When Ernie took his last breath Angles rejoiced that they had a new Angel, we call him Ernie and even today he basks in the Glory that can only be found in the Paradise that promised to those who receive him.

A few highlights of Ernie's life include: As a young man, he won the New York State Brass Instrument Contest playing the Trombone and even taught the High School band while in High School. Ernie was a noted and award-winning Tenor and sang for Weddings and other events. He served 20 Years in the United States Air Force, was a District Executive for the Boy Scouts of America and worked at Ingalls Shipbuilding as a SR Dock Master prior to retirement.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ronnie Tullar. Ernest leaves behind his loving wife, Adelphia Nelson Tullar; two daughters and one son, Carol (John) Smith, Karen (Ed) Gregory and Robert (Sheila) Tullar; 10 Grandchildren; Edward (Mary) Gregory, Matt Gregory, Brian Hook, Christina (John) Donaldson, Debbie (Kevin) Everett, Jackie Shultz, Michelle Harold, Valerie Tullar, Natalie (Fidel) Lucero, and Ryan Tullar; 17 Great Grandchildren, and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren; Also surviving is his Sister, Louise (Marvin) Rupe, and many niece and/nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017, 6:00-8:00pm at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 3290 Ladnier Road, Gautier, MS. A brief eulogy will be given at 6:00pm by his son, Robert, in the parlor.
