Mr. Uless Grant Dailey, 94, was called home to his heavenly Father, on Tuesday, May 9, 2017..

He was a native of Jasper, AL and a resident of Gautier, MS for the past 58 years. He was one of seven children born to the late Ernest and Mattie Dailey. He is preceded in death by parents, his brothers, Dewey and Franklin (Bunk) and sisters, Mami, Icie and Dean, and great-grandchild Braedyn KenLee.
Born on June 16, 1922, Uless leaves to cherish his memory; wife of seventy two years, Ernestine Dailey; sister, Opal Dailey; sons, Larry (Vivian) Dailey and Eddie (Julia) Dailey; grandsons, Brian (Kristen) Dailey and Drew Dailey; four great-grandchildren Brianna Dailey, Brian Dailey, Amylia Dailey, and Ally Dailey; and numerous nieces and nephews

Mr. Dailey was a World War II veteran, serving in the US Army Air Forces. After his military service he returned to Jasper, AL, for several years before moving to Gautier in 1958. He was employed at Ingalls Shipbuilding where he worked until his retirement in 1982. He and Ernestine spent their retirement years traveling across the United States including Alaska with family and friends. He is a long time member of First Baptist Church of Gautier.

Funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Gautier on Saturday, May 13, 2017, at 11am with visitation one hour prior and Dr. Billy Williams officiating. Interment will follow immediately at Pinecrest Cemetery.
