Annie Faye DeAngelo
May 28, 1938 - May 9, 2017

Annie Faye DeAngelo was reunited with husband, Carl DeAngelo Sr. on Tuesday May 9, 2017 at the age of 78.
Annie Faye was born in Laurel MS on May 28, 1938. Annie Faye met Carl, her hero and decorated WWII Veteran and in 1952 they married. This gentile southern belle made the life as wife and mother look easy. She worked in various aspects of retail for many years. She was most recently a member of First Baptist Church of Pascagoula and long-time member of Church of the Nazarene in Pascagoula. She enjoyed fishing and had a green thumb and the unique ability to grow anything.
Carl preceded her in death in 2009, in addition she was preceded in death by her parents Mack and Donie Gunter; a great-granddaughter, Emmalynn DeAngelo; siblings, Avice Baggett, M.D. Gunter, and Nathan Gunter.

Survivors include two sons, Carl R. DeAngelo, Jr. and wife Lorri of Waller, TX and John DeAngelo of Jackson County; a brother, James Gunter (Mary) ; sister-in-law, Joy McGary and Joan McIntosh; four grandchildren, Paige DeAngelo Selman (Jerome) of Sumter, S.C., Courtney DeAngelo Green (Brian) of Pascagoula, and Bethany DeAngelo Dittman (Doug) of Dallas, TX and Connor DeAngelo (Mary Beth) of College Station, TX; three great-grandchildren, Aryana Best, Matti Jane Green, and Joseph Elliott DeAngelo; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 5-7pm at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula. Funeral Service will be Friday, May 12 at 10am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will conclude services at Machpelah Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Connor DeAngelo, Brian Green, Doug Dittman, R.M. Jones, Larry Gunter, and Bobby Gunter.
